I wanted to tell everyone about something that happened to me on my Connections membership so that no one else makes the same mistake I did.

I signed up for a full year of Connections in December of 2001. I was happy with my membership. I saved a lot of money by purchasing Disney Meal Vouchers, and discounted gift cards over the year.

In December of 2002 to, in the final month of my membership, I purchased over $400 in gift cards to give as gifts for Christmas, expecting that I would get $91 in refunds at the end of the month. My membership officially ended on December 25th, so I did not receive the refunds for those purchases. Part of it was my own fault for not reading the fine print in the member manual that said you had to be an active member at the end of the month to get the refunds. So, your year membership in Connections isn't really a year. Some of the benefits of the membership end on the last day of the 11th month of your membership.

Also, Connections charged me for a second year of membership at $139 without telling me. They claim they sent membership information to me, but I did not receive it. They did take off the charge of the membership fee.

I just wanted to let everyone know so no one loses out on the refunds like I did.
