Hi Everybody,

The Connections website lists the children vacation kingdom vouchers as ages 3-9.

However, on the wdwig.com menu site, the Rainforest Cafe kids' menu says 12 & under.

I think that this is a mistake on Connections' part.

Do you think I would be safe to buy children's vouchers for 11 & 12 year old girls for lunch @ RFC (AK)?

Thanks!!!!

Karen

Since RFC kids menu specifly says 12 and under, I'm sure you would not have a problem. I think other WDW retaurants would let you use them for a child 12 and under also but I'm not positive. You should call CRO to be sure. Hope this helps!

Unless you are trying to "pre-pay" all your meals, I wouldn't order the children any vouchers. Child meals are so affordable that I would ask the server to bill separately. This way you have the advantage of saving money for the adult meals as well as only ordering what the kids will enjoy.

My two cents, Steve

When I called Disney to ask they stated that the vouchers were for children and the children's ages were to coincide with the ages listed in the restaurants. Connections made a mistake in the way they listed them because they placed children in the "ticket" age bracket. Disney has 2 ways of classifying children by admission media ( where they are usaully able to enjoy more attractions) and by "food appeal" where they often still eat smaller portions and are not as adventurous in thier tastes. Using the lunch vouchers can save money in the propler places. They usually don't save money in the buffet restaurants.

I also don't think you'll need them if you use 2 adult vouchers. It's a lot of food :) Check the menu prices for RFC kids meals & see if it's worth it. Will they get everything listed on the voucher & eat it? If not, you might be better off just buying them a regular kids meal & sharing the rest of the stuff off of your vouchers.

We were so upset that our 2 year old slept through lunch on the day we used ours. We were happy that he was napping peacefully, of course, but we really wanted to share our food with him!
