I just ordered my connection vouchers today for both the quick and casual and the lunch vouchers. I thought we would eat late lunches but neither my husband or I eat that big of meals. We have never split a meal before and I'm not sure how they handle it. Do they bring an extra plate, do they divide it in the kitchen, or do we just make do any way we can? Thanks for the advice.

I suppose it depends on where you use them. Most of the places in the parks, I imagine you have to ask for an add'l "plate" but we also used one at Beaches and Cream and they divided it for us.

Thanks Cheryl. I had no idea how it would work. I want to eat at Le Cellier. I am such a klutz and I have visions of me trying to divide it or both eating off one plate like a couple of pigs at a trough.

My DH & I shared a lunch at Le Cellier (used one Connections voucher). IIRC, the kitchen divided the entree for us. We paid for one extra dessert and one extra beverage. My DH did not want to share my 100 Years of Magic chocolate cake - I don't know WHAT was wrong with him! :teeth:

FWIW, sharing is definitely the way to go for the lunch vouchers. We found the portions to be quite large and even sharing, we left full (of course those big desserts had nothing to do with that, I'm sure, LOL). I can't imagine eating all that food at one time by myself and was very glad to be able to share. IMHO, sharing is the only way to get "your money's worth" with the lunch vouchers.

We also shared lunch (another voucher) at Marrakesh. There the waitress brought out an extra plate and we split the entree ourselves. We were a little reluctant to eat here, but found the food to be delicious. We look forward to going there again on our next trip.

Enjoy your trip!

When you ate at the Epcot rest. did you use the Connection vouchers for lunch, I think that they are around $30.00?

Yes, we used the Vacation Kingdom Lunch vouchers that were $29.50 each. (Not sure if that is still the price. We actually bought the vouchers from another DIS poster who was unable to use them before they expired). Each voucher included an appetizer, an entree, a dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage.

HTH.

We ate their at 4:00 pm last year and they would NOT let us use our $ 29.50 Lunch Voucher! We had to pay full price because lunch ended at 3:30!

Some restaurants like Hollywood Brown Derby let us use ours at 5:30 pm, I guess because they have lunch/dinner all day but I would make sure to double check with all the restaurants first before you use them! ;)

Thanks everyone. I'm glad to know about the ending time for Le Cellier. It would be a shame to plan on using them and not being able to. Since I ordered my vouchers I got on Deb's WDWIG site and was looking at the menus. I have already zeroed in on the 100 Years of Magic choc. cake.:bounce: :Pinkbounc
