I just joined connections through Lillian Vernon. I've decided that I'll buy the quick and casual meal vouchers and I'd love to buy the vacation kingdom dinner vouchers if we ever can get any info on them and their availibility. :

How long after calling lillian vernon did it take to get your connections login info, so that you could order?

You can usually call Connections within 3 business days of joining thru Lillian Vernon and they will have your membership number that you need to login.

elfbo, It took at least 2 weeks for my info to arrive from Connections. In fact, I just got it today.

Have you seen the incredible prices these vouchers are getting on Ebay? I cannot believe people will pay so much for something without doing a little research for themselves. Vouchers are going for around $16 for Q&C with and added $5 for shipping and handling (what a racket, it cost 37 cents to mail and they charge $5). People are cleaning up on the auctions. I don't know how to "Ebay" merchandise but if I did I might try it for myself.

icy-dog, I agree that some of the EBay sellers certainly seem to take advantage of folks. On the other hand, I guess one needs to remember "Buyer beware!" and a little research could certainly be valuable. I do know that there are several reasons why folks may want to purchase the vouchers (the potential of saving $$ at WDW; knowing that meals are prepaid which helps with one's budget, etc.) and I hope that the shipping charges can be negotiated. As a seller, I know that I am concerned about items getting "lost" in the mail so although I am happy to put a 37cent stamp on the envelope, I also prefer to pay for insurance and/or return receipt requested.

One other thing: there is a limit on how many vouchers one can purchase annually from Connections so I don't see how people can sell 100's of them. (?)

Last weds, and called connections today and received my member number. So i ordered some breakfast and Q&C vouchers, looks like they are out of the VKL ones, and some movie tickets. The savings from the movie tickets alone covered the cost of the monthly fee. Yippie!
