Connections Phone Number & Vacation Kingdom Dinner Vouchers

I talked to a Connections customer rep yesterday and he told me that they have "Real Deal" Dinner vouchers available and they are $30.50/adult and $12.75/child. I did not order any but I will soon!

You have to call Lillian Vernon, 800-545-5426, to sign up for Connections. I joined for the one month trial, ordered vouchers, and then cancelled. I will join again for my November trip.

the price you mention for the dinner voucher is the same as the lunch voucher price. Maybe the customer svc rep you spoke to gave you incorrect info? Could they offer Hoop De Doo at this price, unless it only includes the food & not the show? I believe another poster mentioned Chef Mickey's as being included. Normally Chef Mickey's is 29.16 (including meal, tax, 15% tip). With the voucher at 30.50, you'd be paying a premium. If the voucher included an appetizer, you'd be losing out even more. Anybody have more info?

It is not unusual for the voucher price to exceed the value of the meal. Usually buffet meals are less expensive out of pocket than the with the voucher--CP lunch is 17.99 but the voucher is around 30. You really do need to be sure you do your research before using these.

When someone orders the dinner vouchers please post how much, and where they are good for. Maybe I'll have DH sign up for a trial membership before our June trip.

I'm new to this board and have been reading alot about these vouchers. I won't be going to disney until nov but I was wondering if I join connections and order some vouchers then cancel before the 30 days can I still use the vouchers even though i am no longer a member. Also what's the best value. We are going with a group 6 adults 2 children and will probably just be looking for quick meals and maybe 1 or 2 character meals. Thanks

There are lots of threads on this board about connections vouchers. Depending on where you want to eat depends on the value. SOme are break even and some you will not even break even.

I found it very helpful to review the menus at wdwig.com
and decide where we wanted to eat and what we probably would eat to determine if we would use a voucher or pay cash. And to get the best value from using the voucher.

Do some more research and good luck! I know I really enjoyed using the vouchers and we saved a bunch of money doing so (we used primarily the Q&C $11 vouchers at Beaches and Cream as we were staying at the BCV)

I agree - the prices being the same does concern me. His exact words were (as he looked them up) "We have two types of dinner vouchers - the "Real Deal" dinner vouchers and the Quick and Casual dinner voucher." so I hope he was correct since he had a special name and listing for them.
I was hoping someone else had already bought some. I'll update everyone once I order mine!

I just got off of the phone and they claim that the Lunch voucher is now a lunch/dinner voucher. You can use it for either a lunch or dinner. I am going to order and see what they really are. I will let you know when I get them.

Hmmm.... I received lunch vouchers today and they are just lunch vouchers. I did notice the brochure says the lunch vouchers are good at Coral Reef but my vouchers do not list it. Maybe there are new vouchers? Geez, everything to do with Connections is always confusing and not very clear.

If you were asking about my lunch vouchers, yes, they expire in 2004. :D

Did anyone learn if there really are vacation kingdom dinner vouchers? Is there a public number anyone can call to find out about them and their cost?

The vacation kingdom dinner vouchers are a new product. I heard about them when I receive a brochure from Connections. If you read through all the posts near the beginning of this thread, the number for connections is posted and the restaurants named in the brochure is listed.

I spoke with a supervisor, Shannon, at Connections. She confirmed that this is a new product and they do not yet have the vouchers in stock. She did not have pricing information. Since this is a new product, the people answering phones at Connections are very confused. One person tried to tell me that the dinner voucher was the same as the lunch voucher for $30.50 and it is NOT!

I think we all need to stay tuned until Connections has the vouchers in stock and starts selling them.

Please keep us posted as you learn anything new about these vouchers.

Still want this info when connections gets these in!!!

I am going to join Connections and these dinner
vouchers sound interesting. It looks like we are
all waiting for some info. I hope it will be soon.
 :smooth:

Checked the Connections website this morning - still no info on these dinner vouchers. I really hope the rumor is true, and I hope they offer them soon - we leave in 2 weeks!!!

A quick note on potential pricing - I see no reason why they couldn't be the same price as the lunch vouchers. They certainly couldn't be much more, otherwise they wouldn't be worth purchasing for most locations.

At $30.50 they would only save a couple of dollars at character dinners and all mid level restaurants. At many higher end restaurants (such as Brown Derby and Concourse Steakhouse) the dinner menu isn't much more expensive than the lunch menu for many items. Sure, at $30.50 vouchers woould be a great deal at a few restaurants (like cali Grill, Flying Fish, Narcoossees), but each of the vouchers is a better deal at some restaurants than others. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, is offered.

What is the Connection's website and is it $80.00 a year anymore?? Also has anyone gotten their park hoppers from them?

I bought a 5 day park hopper plus for my dad through Connections. He used it in April with no problems.

Add me to this list. I would like to find out more about the diner vouchers for Ohana's and HDD.
