I am want info on getting between Fort Wilderness campground and Yacht Club resort, how long does it take? how do i go about doing it? how early in the morning can I get a connection?

There is no Disney transportation between the resorts. Sometimes if there is a Character Breakfast at a resort, the bus driver will go to the resort on the way to a park (in this case Epcot) but there is no guarantee.
If you are not driving, your best bet would be to take the Ferry to the MK and then take the bus to the YC. This may take awhile, depending on how quickly you get the ferry and then a bus, I would say at least 45 minutes to get from FW to the YC. You can also take a cab, which would save you a lot of time. I'm not sure of the cost, a few years ago we went from the Poly to the YC and the cost with tip was about $12.00

The best way to get to the Yacht Club is to go to the Settlement Bus Depot (Near Pioneer Hall) at Ft. Wilderness and take a bus to the Studios. Then walk on the pathway from the Studios to the Yacht Club. There will probably be a bus as early as 7am. If you are going for an early breakfast, tell the bus driver you are going to the Yacht Club and he may be able to take you there directly. If not, it is about a 15 minute walk.

Personally, because of the length of time involved in getting from FW to the YC I would call a cab. It will cost you a few dollars, but it will be much quicker. JMO!

You can also catch a boat from MGM to the Yacht and Beach Club (and to BW, Swan & Dolphin, and Epcot too, for that matter). Alternatively, you can take a boat from FW to MK and then the bus from MK to Yacht and Beach Club. May take longer than a cab, but at least the boat portions would be scenic.
