Connecting with Eurostar

Here we go again
Coming from sunny Blackpool ? we cannot get a train to London in time to catch direct train to dlp consequently we have to travel to london day before and hotel overnight, do the same on the way back. OK we have a day out in London but it does add quite a cost to the whole trip. Anybody know if theres plans for any later direct trains?
Any decent family hotels in London.Stayed at Thistle Westminster last year which was ok.Trying a travelodge this year just *** its nearer st panc.

All the hotels in docklands are well priced, and brand new, and not too far on the tube. Plus Docklands has lots of nice restaurants and a shopping centre to keep you entertained in the evening.

I don't think they will add any more direct trains unfortunately.

When are you going? ~ because Eurostar is putting on some extra direct trains on selective days this summer and they left later in the day than the regular one. I'll see if I can find the post.

Thanks for that v.usefull.We travel on July 20th so they should have startyed by then . Just gonna have a look at the eurostar site
