Hi All,

I will probably be bringing my laptop and was wondering what is involved in using the high speed connection in the hotel rooms. Is it just a matter of connecting it to your laptop or do you need to change any of your email/internet settings or configurations?

Thanks! :earsgirl:

Not all the hotels offer high-speed access, so check the link for the ones that do. http://allearsnet.com/acc/internet.htm

If you're staying at one that does, it's pretty simple. You don't need to change any settings; just bring (or borrow from tech support) a LAN cable and plug it into the HSIA plug labeled in your room. It is very easy.

Thanks so much beccasmom! We'll be staying at the Swan then the CR which I believe have high speed internet. :earsgirl:

Dory,
If you have transportation, you can use the FedEx/Kinkos for free. Just bring your laptop and plug in to their line. We just returned from the Poly and they did not have highspeed access yet. The GF was $10 for 15 min and closed early. This Kinkos is located outside the back gate by Hwy 535 (i think), you get to it by driving by Downtown Disney and make a left on 535, the Crossroads Mall will be in front of you and the Kinkos is less than a mile down on the right side.

Good luck.

We just returned from the Wilderness Lodge and internet service was available in the room. The plug was on the nightstand and you just connected it to your computer, agreed to the terms on the screen, and you were online. It cost $9.95 for a 24hr period.
