Connecting rooms

Me, my mom, and 2 nieces are going to WDW next Sept/Oct and staying at a junior suite at WL. I am thinking of changing the reservation to 2 rooms at CBR or POR and requesting connecting rooms. That way we adults will not keep the kids awake at night or during naps. This would save us a lot of money, especially if I can get an AP code. Has anyone ever requested connecting rooms and not gotten them??

The JR. Suite at Wilderness Lodge

You can close off bedroom while the children sleep, each room has a TV and the living area was a pull-out sofa which it very comfy to sleep or sit on. Bathroom has entrance from either room and doors can be closed from either side. There shouldn't be a problem with keeping the childern awake at night or at nap time my children don't even move after they fall sleep, after a full day at Disney. (plus you can view EWP from balcony) AP rates can also be had on Jr. Suites...You could also make ressies at CBR or POR as a back-up. Remember Room request are not guaranteed but I'm sure they will try and accommodate your request for connecting rooms when there are children.

We requested connecting rooms at CBR and didn't get them. The reason being was that we both had rooms with king beds. Those rooms are on the corners and don't connect. Unfortunately there were no standard rooms available during our stay; otherwise it probably wouldn't have been a problem.

I stayed at POFQ with 3 friends in February. We requested 2 connecting rooms. We got rooms next to each other but they did not connect. We were able to get connecting rooms at CSR in 2001.

we have requested and got connecting rooms at the all-stars last 2 times we were there. and we were there the week between christmas and new year!

do some of the resorts have a greater percentage of connecting rooms, anyone know where the chances are greatest?
