Do the onsite hotels guarantee connecting rooms?

We have always gotten the connecting rooms we requested. For several years now we have booked through AAA and have had no problems. This year I called Loews directly and booked our two garden view rooms with the AAA discount and requested connecting rooms. The agent told me because of the garden view classification and AAA my connecting room request was guaranteed. I usually go with the expectation that they may not be so I won't be disappointed.

We only booked connecting rooms once and we ended up with connecting rooms.

We learned the hard way.They told us we had connecting rooms several times on the phone,when we get there found out you have to have the same type rooms.2queens connect to 2queens.Cannot connect a king to a 2queen room.We were next to each other just not connecting.I've learned not to beleive anything they tell you on the phone.We have been burned so many times.We just hope we get what we ask for!!!!!

We requested connecting 2Q rooms in Feb. and got them. We had connecting 2Q and 1K room at HRH after we requested them too. You can request but they will not guarantee.

Racefan, there are people on the RPR thread that have had connecting rooms with 2Q and 1K also There may just be fewer of them because there are fewer King rooms.
