connecting rooms

I am just wondering what our chances of getting a connecting room at POR is. We booked our vacation back in March, and the other day my MIL and FIL decided they wanted to come with us. When I made their reservations I did request connecting rooms with us. Do they usually try to honor that kind of a request?

They will try but will not gaurentee unless the number of minor children out numbers the adults in the group.

We have requested connecting rooms 3 times and have gotten them each time.

We had reservations at ASSp and when we got there they told us they had no connecting rooms. Our choice was to have rooms near (with one room inbetween) or move to ASMu......we reluctantly moved, because with 2 adults and 3 kids connecting was fairly important to us.

We've always gotten connecting rooms when requested, but I really believe some resorts are more considerate than others when honoring requests. BTW, POR is our hotel of choice for that very reason!
