We have 2 cat 5 connecting rooms booked for our Western next month. Will the room stewart keep the doors open with stoppers or should I bring our own? Do we have anything connecting the two balconys?

Thanks,
Wendy

Hi, we had two connecting cat 5's in September, and we used Head Bands, you know the stretchy material kind. This really worked well, and we put them back on our luggage to identify them at the airports. We bought these at the dollar store, and tried to find the brightest colors.

Our balconies were not opened, but you could talk to each other on either side, since we had three side by side rooms, only two connected, but with the three of our rooms, we were all chatty on the balconies (when we felt like it).

So, in reviewing my message, I really do not think I helped at all, since I am not sure if the room steward has anything, although I am sure they would try.

We used the crescent moon stools to keep the doors open. We did not realize about the wooden sticks until the end of the cruise. I am sure that they would give them to you if you asked.

On our May 2004 cruise we had 2 connecting cat 4's we never had to ask for them. It was really nice to have them because we could put the kids to bed and keep our door propped open if they had a problem but we could watch tv while they slept or sit on the balcony. The balcony didn't open up to a large balcony so we had to just talk through the wall or all stand on one.

*edited to change from connecting 8's to connecting 4's cause the brain isn't working right*
