Connecting rooms at POP?

I was wondering how hard is it to get connecting/adjoining rooms at Pop. I know that it is only a request and that they can not guarantee it but I was wondering what other peoples experience has been in getting connecting rooms. We are looking to go August 4 - 9 and my DS wants to stay in the 80s section, he is currently very into Pac Man. So my request will be 2 connecting rooms in the 80s section. Think that is reasonable?

we stayed at the 50s Easter week and we only asked to be near each other and they gave us connecting rooms. I was surprised since it was busy that weekend. So maybe you'll get tlucky too. Esp. since it's not a holiday.

From what I've read in the POP FAQ post from Tyler is that there are plenty of Connecting rooms. We stayed in Feb and had a connecting room in the 70s.. Didn't need or ask for it.. but the door was there.. LOL

Pop Century was built with connecting rooms in mind. 50% of all our rooms connect to each other.

Thanks! I just booked our flights and I am calling to make our reservation now! We can't wait to go. At first it was just my DS and I, but now my sister and my best friend are coming with us! I need to take some time and read through the FAQ thread.

Great to know that there are many connecting rooms. Our son and his 4 friends are joining us for vacation and we feel much better with connecting rooms. What are the chances of getting three connecting rooms. Any suggestions Tyler ? Or are we pushing it. The teen have two rooms, two girls in one and two guys in the other. First time at Pop for us we usually stay at a moderate.

The Polynesian is the only resort that can have three rooms connecting, and it is very hard to get.

At Pop, you can get one room connecting with one, and the third room right next door.
