Connecting room

I am looking at booking rooms and we will need a room for 6 people...so we either need to go with 2 studios or a 2 bedroom. For the points the 2 studios are looking better. Has anyone NOT gotten connecting rooms when they requested it?

The only options for connecting are PVB and resort studios at VGF in BPK.

We didn’t get our request for connecting at BPK last year.

We were only a group of 3 and all adults so not sure if that made a difference.

Yes three times I have not gotten a connecting room when requested. Disney does not block off rooms as we book them. So you are at the mercy of the room request gods when they do assign them. If there are not connecting rooms available, no way to give them to you.

We have always gotten our requests for connecting studios at PVB. Nearly every studio connects there so your chances are quite good.

I have at PVB. I requested two connecting rooms at VGF for our June trip so we'll see.

Where was your request? VGF or PVB?

If you seek Poly, you will have a very high chance of getting connecting rooms if requested because, out of the 360 studies, all but two of them connect to another studio.

I requested connecting rooms at BPK and got them. I think it probably has something to do with how many days your stay is. The longer your stay is, the harder to find two rooms connecting that are both available. We were only staying for two nights.
