I have booked with Virgin to stay at pop next Easter.
There will be me [mother] and two teenagers, and I have asked for a connecting room.
How many are there at Pop and where are they and do you think we have a chance of getting one, oh and one more question do they cost extra ?

Thanks

Hi
We stayed at pop in november and my mom came with us.We asked for a connecting room on the special request section on the vigin booking form(if you didn't do it over the net you can ring and ask them to put it on the booking. My mom is registered disabled and has problems walking. They did honour this request, but we asked for a room on the ground (we got 3rd floor,)and a room near the main section (and we got the furthest section away-back of the 90's).We didn't complain. They did offer to move us the following day but we couldn't be bothered to pack and un pack.It wasn't too bad after all.CBR honoured all our requests-ground floor and connecting. As it was our wedding we also had a corner room given which was nice as it has 2 windows. We ar staying at POR this time but no mom and I have just asked for a corner room on a high floor.(after changing my mind several times about which area to stay in).I think if you only request a connecting room you will get it.If you don't just be nice at the desk when you get there and they will do there best to accomodate-if they can -and the hotel isn't full:eek:
There are a lot of connecting rooms and no they don't cost anymore. You have a great time .We loved it there:thumbsup2

Thanks for your reply crabby1, I am in the same situation and have requested a ground floor room too. Last year we stayed at POR but did not like it as much as Pop though it did have a trundle bed.

Nee that is quite worrying as I am staying at POR in 5 weeks time:scared1: What didn't you like about POR?I love the look of this resort as both me an dh love the rustic feel and the landscaping.Completely different to pop-I suppose you don't get the disney theming like you do at pop which I loved.:thumbsup2
