When having connecting flights that are on different airlines - do the airlines normally transfer your checked baggage to the connecting flight of the other airlines? Its been nearly 25 years since I've done anything like that.
I'm arriving in San Francisco on ATA at 4:44PM and connecting to a Delta flight at 6:25PM. I think that is plenty of time for the connection and transfer of checked baggage. I'm just vague on if they still do that, or ever did, that sort of thing.
I thought maybe some of you more frequent fliers would know the answer to this question. Thanks for any input!!
