connecting doors?

Definitely. You need to make that request very clear on your reservation, explicitly stating "connecting rooms" (not "adjoining rooms" -- that just means next-door -- "adjoining" doesn't imply a door between the two rooms). Also, under most circumstances, recognize that it is just a request, and maybe you will get a connecting room or maybe you won't.

If you have small children with you, it's easier to obtain a connecting room.

Last year me and my DH stayed at CBR with my sister and 3 nieces in one room and a connecting door to our room, it worked great, except they are super early risers and would come running in to wake me and DH up at like 5 a.m.!!!!!!!! I am looking forward to our adult only trip this year! :cloud9:
