Connecting AirTran Flight at ATL

Our AirTran flight had a schedule change over the weekend and now we have less time to make our connecting flight in ATL. Do you feel an hour and ten minutes is sufficient time or should I call and request a later connecting flight? According to the email I received from Airtran I have to accept the new schedule or call and make possible changed.

When we had a connection in Atlanta we had a forty-five minute layover and had no problem. All the AirTran gates were fairly close so we made a bathroom stop, got sandwiches and still had plenty of time at the gate before boarding. And that is with three boys!

Thanks! We have two girls, one with special needs so this worried us a bit.

You will be fine. We have a 45 min layover there next week and I am not sweating it. There are 6 of us - 2 kids. We have laid over there before and it's not hard to get around. We are planning on enough time to get a drink, use the bathroom and then head to the gate

have done 35 minutes with a terminal change with no problem. You'll already have your boarding passes from origin so seats will be there when you board.

I would definately call the airline and tell them about your special needs child and that you would like to sit closer to the front of the plane. That way you will get off quicker and have some extra time should you need it.
