Do they have adjoining/connecting ( door that opens up two rooms ) at Pop? I keep hearing different things and I am confused.

Hi,

We stayed at Pop in Oct. and had adjoining rooms with my mom. It was great! We always left the doors open to the rooms so the kids could go from room to room.
Hope this helps you!

Thank you so much. When I called them this morning they told me that they don't have those kind of rooms. They said they could be side by side and that's it. Do you think I need to call them again?

Absolutely call them! I believe we were in the 70's building (it had the mood rings) on the 4th floor. It was much more convenient then 2 separate rooms.
I would for sure call them back and tell them you know someone who stayed there in adjoining rooms in Oct. Maybe you got someone new to the job or just didn't take the time to ask.
Good Luck!

Adjoining rooms are two rooms next to each other. Connecting rooms are two rooms that have the connecting door in the middle.

Pop Century does have connecting rooms. We had one in July. We were also in the 70's section, but on the 1st floor.

We had connecting rooms (door between the two) in the 80's building 2nd floor in January. I would definately call back.

We stayed in the 70's building last summer - we had connecting rooms, be sure you ask for Connecting or you will get adjoining rooms - my travel agent had to make sure they knew we only had 2 adults and 3 kids in the two rooms for the first couple of nights to get the connecting rooms - if there are more than 2 adults disney may try to give you adjoining rooms instead

Just curious - when you booked these rooms and requested connecting and/or adjoining - did they guarantee them? I have a reservation for October, and asked for either, and was told they cannot guarantee them - I will have to wait to see what I get when I get there! Does there have to be no adult in the room to guarantee connecting?

Hi,

We booked through a travel agent and she requested connecting rooms for us, no guarantee. When we checked in at Pop Century I asked if we had connecting rooms and she said no that they were beside each other. I told her that we requested adjoining/connecting rooms when we reserved and we were under the impression that is what we had. She looked on the computer and was able to find us connecting rooms then. No problem at all. Our family had our own room and my mom had her own room, but the connecting door was great! We left it open and the kids could go back and forth as they pleased.
Hope this will help you!

We had connecting rooms at Pop. Just make sure you request "connecting" because adjoining will just be next to each other with no door connecting them.

I called Pop directly this morning and he told me that yes they do have the ajoining rooms with the door connecting. Although it's not guarenteed he did tell me to call them 2 or 3 days before my arrival to reconfirm the request.
Hope this helps!!

If you have kids in your party, they will guarantee connecting rooms
