Connect e-ticket to Disneyland App/Account

Not that I'm aware of. I've never seen anyone enter the parks with a phone. Usually a print out or paper ticket for the non-passholders.

I have entered with my phone. We wanted to get a first-thing FP for Frozen at DCA (back when you needed FP for Frozen), but we were planning on doing character M&Gs first thing at DLR as well. So I sent my husband over to DCA with our APs, and DD8 and I entered DL with our linked passes on my phone. That only works for APs, though - regular tickets aren't yet linkable.

Interesting, I have only ever just used our actual card.

I was also not aware that you could get a FP without having a ticket activated in that park. I will have to look into this.

As long as the ticket (or AP) has been used to enter one of the parks that day then you are able to get FPs from either park.

I would need to test this I guess. My wife is telling me she is pretty positive this doesn't work for regular rides. She said it may have worked for Frozen and might work for World of Color as their Fastpasses are not connected to the ride FP system. Have you done this elsewhere or just for Frozen?

Not sure about tickets you've already purchased, but you can definitely buy tickets on the app and use it to enter along with adding your AP on the app and using it to enter. I do it all the time. For an AP, you can do everything with your phone except get fastpasses.

Yes. What Ashley said is correct. You can also enter the info from your ticket that you bought online (but not through the app) into the app and it will show up in your app. It will get you into the park but it will not work for fastpasses. (We just forgot our APs one day and were going to use my phone instead of waiting in line for paper tickets but we couldn't get fastpasses with the phone.

It is absolutely possible. In the poster's case, she did activate her pass for the day at DL, on her phone. As she said, APs can enter using the app. By the time her DH got to the FP machine in DCA, her pass was already activated by her for the day. It would be no different than if he went into DL with them and turned around and went over to DCA to do the same. This just saved them steps. It wouldn't matter what kind of FP they were getting (show vs. ride) - it all works the same. And you can hold FP for both parks at the same time.

Okay, I will let her know. Thanks

I have absolutely done this for regular rides on more than one occasion, especially when DH and DS are on Star Tours (ugh, barf). I've grabbed all of our passes, hopped over to DCA and grabbed a FP for something there!

This is the first time I've heard this tip. We will definitely keep this in mind.

On my last trip, I bought Disneyland tickets, the socal ticket, on the Disneyland website.

It showed up in the app, and I was able to use to get in but were given normal tickets at the gate, that had to be used after that.
