Congress Park or Grandstand at SSR?

We just got our member number in the mail and are booking our April 5-10 2014 trip. Question...Congress Park or Grandstand. Perks of each? specific locations better than others? It will be my DH, DS (8), and DD (6). This will be our first time staying as members. Thanks!

When a bus that's going to a Theme Park arrives at SSR, The Grandstand is the first section it will go to. The Grandstand section is also close to The Carriage House (check-in, restaurants).

Congress Park will put you close to Downtown Disney.

depends upon you - do you want a seat on the bus - then Grandstand

if you want to walk to DD then Congress Park

for DD - at Grandstand you can also take the boat.
Grandstand is really close to carriage house - where the main pool and restaurant is located
