Congratulations to us!

I got some good news today that I want to share with everyone here. Great Disney World Photos was recently voted by other Squidoo lensmasters as the first Masterpiece Lens of the Month. It is currently ranked at #5 overall and is ranked at #1 in the travel section, out of over 78,000 lenses – Woo Hoo!

I wanted to share it with folks on this board because that lens was actually born out of the photography board here on the DIS. I have learned SO much from everyone on this board and been truly inspired by the wonderful photos that are posted on here. Many of you have galleries listed on the lens and much of the content comes directly from things I’ve learned on this forum. So really, this is recognition for all of us!

There’s been a lot of new stuff added to it in the last few weeks and there’s more to come. If anyone has suggestions for other things you think should be included please let me know. I really want it to be a fun and useful resource for everyone. And I’m serious about wanting to include content from people in this community. You all are the best!

Hey Groucho - I added your gallery. I've looked at your signature several times for a gallery but never saw it. Did you just recently add it? Or am I just blind! You've got terrific photos.

gruZ - I actually have looked at yours and have you on my list to add. Just haven't gotten to everybody yet.

And Bob - when are you going to get one? I've been waiting...

Everyone - please send me links to galleries that you like, and that includes your own. I'm happy to post them all - the more the better!

Thanks! It's fairly recent, as in the last 3-4 weeks - I did a little updating as I was working on my trip report, and now that all my trip pics are up, have been hyping it more. (I also didn't used to have a site that could handle the traffic - I'm a little disappointed in the speed of my current web host, but they give you a huge amount of storage and bandwidth for cheap, so......)

And Bob - when are you going to get one? I've been waiting...

Agreed, I remember looking a few months ago and didn't find a lot out there. Just enough to know that there probably was a lot of good stuff that we weren't seeing!
