Skip, you're Justin Jett. At first I thought you ("Skip") might be a dog, like Max the intern. I apologize for that. QUOTE]
You are actually very close.

No need to apologize.
My name is Skip Potter. Justin & Jett are two very special Greyhounds who have helped to shape who I am today. They are white with big black spots, like a dairy cow. I refer to them as "Cowdogs." They are partially responsible for my finding this site and the podcast.
I had just dropped out of college to persue a career in travel. Justin and Jett came to the adoption kennel in NC from Jacksonville, FL. They were both very high energy, and many people doubted that I could handle them. I asked for a chance to try and put them in their crates after they had gone out to do what they had to do. The kennel director gave me that chance, and let me try.
Justin was more stubborn than Jett. The Greyhound was faster than the wheelchair.

It took me 45 minutes, of me putting Justin in the crate, and Justin escaping before I got the door shut. I enjoyed this "game" as much as Justin did. Word of what happened quickly spread among the volunteers, and Justin and I became quite famous for our antics. Videos were made and the local newspaper did a story about me and Justin.
Justin taught me the importance of not giving up.
To preface what I will say about Jett.....In 1997, I had to leave the Disney College Program because of a medical problem. I was very embarrassed, and stayed away from Disney for 5 years. This is, util Jett came along.
Jett has three "Cowdog Spots" on his rear-end that form a perfect (upside down) hidden Mickey. He was adopted by one of the kennel volunteers, who was attending college in NC. She was from a little town known as Orlando, FL. I think the "Mickey Mouse Cowdog" going to live in Orlando is the greatest thing since the WEDway Peoplemover! Long story short, I got to meet Jett's new family, and they encourage me to go back and finish the College Program and college in general.
My spirit and desire to be a cast member came back after just one visit to the Magic Kingdom. It reminded me of who I really am, and what I am supposed to be.
Jett taught me to be true to who I really am, and not try to reinvent myself.
Six months later, I found Bob's video of Star Wars Weekends. That led me to the Podcast.
Here we are today! Life has a lot of twists and turns.
Thank you all!
