Congratulations to the new freshman! Wow, 8th grade...what an accomplishment and to do it with honors & certificates makes it all the more sweet!

Bug....you think 8th grade is emotional....wait until high school graduation...LOL! You'll need a whole box of tissues! My Parker, just did 8th grade promotion too and is taking summer school classes at his new high school as we speak...its a whole different world! I'll have a freshman and senior this coming year....where does the time go?

Boy you are so right! My oldest graduated college this year also-that was a feat. Your are not kidding about the time. Seems like yesterday you are carrying them around and next thing you know they are all grown and graduated. I cried at the college grad but Ink's and Smalld's was so emotional to me due to everything that happened to the 2 of them this past year. I am looking forward to a normal 4 years of high school- the arguments, the rebellion, the late night worries. I will never take everyday teenage things for granted again. I knew things were looking good when a couple months ago Ink got mad at me and slammed his bedroom door in my face...at first i was devastated but then i realized that hey this was normal teenage behavior and Ink was feeling great. Bears helped me realize that this was a great moment
