Well, we're leaving on January 4th for 4 nights at All Star Music followed by 4 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge. The only way we were able to keep it a secret was to not tell anyone! I think I only mentioned it once even here on the boards. Our mothers didn't find out until the children had opened the gift, since they're both notorious for accidentally letting secrets slip. We've also only had it planned for two weeks (which also made it an easier secret to keep) so, manic planner that I am, I haven't even made a single PS yet!! With Christmas to get organized, I didn't have time for anything else.
We got a postcard for the moderates, but since they were booked for our dates, they allowed us to use the code for the deluxe resorts instead, at a higher price, of course. We've rented our car through National, and DH got us flights via Air Transat. I think our flights were about $1350 for the four of us, so that seemed relatively reasonable. Now we only have to get the special Canadian 7 day hoppers and we'll be all set.
I can hardly wait, I'm so excited! We've been listening to the Main Street Electrical Parade CD - that always gets me in a Disney mood. We've also been playing with the Walt Disney Explorer on the computer this morning, and that's fun, too.
