Congrads on the new Chrylser PT Cruiser. My family owns/operates a very small Chrylser, Dodge, & Jeep dealership and I know that is a very nice vehicle.:thumbsup2

Thanks...we are loving the Dream Cruiser.

Was out the other night on the FL Turnpike and I had the top down and the heater on.

It was 70 or so degress, but going 70 mph made it feel like 20 degrees.

I know....I'm a FL wuss. 50 degrees is cold to me.:rotfl2:

I about died when you guys said you got one! I love that car!! DH and I were driving this weekend and saw one sitting on the car lot and I said "the boys and I would look so coo with the top down in that!"

My Mom has a 2007 PT Cruiser Touring Edition. PT Cruisers are great cars. however the driver door has a small dent from a Deer Strike on her way home last summer. She Lives 30 Miles north of me.The PT she has is a Navy Blue Color.

I am now the proud owner of my second PT Cruiser. :cool1:

My latest is the 2007 PT Street Cruiser Pacific Coast Highway Edition. Beautiful blue color, although not quite as striking as my first "electric blue" turbo Cruiser.

Mine has the sun roof (or "moon roof" as Chrysler calls it), next best thing to a convertible in my opinion. Too cold in the winter here for a convertible, even with the top up.

My radio has an aux input for mp3 players, so I never have to be separated from DIS Unplugged for too long. I just plug my iPhone into the radio, hit play, and awaaayyy we gooooo.

I thought I heard somewhere that Chrysler was not going to make the convertible Cruisers any more - can anyone confirm this? :confused3

As long as Chrysler keeps making PT Cruisers, I'll keep buying them.

I have a PT cruiser convertible (red, black top) and I absolutely LOVE it. Plus it has an auxiliary plug so I can play my ipod thru it and listen to my podcasts (a VERY important feature in my opinion). I would like to have some sort of WDW logo on it (small somewhere on the trunk), but haven't found exactly what I like yet. So for now I make do with my various antenna toppers. Kevin - I live in PA and I have been known to drive with the top down and the heat blasting in March.

I think chrysler is only discontinuing the convertible PT cruiser, but I could be wrong. It may be all models. :worried:

We had a 2002 PT Cruiser. It was red with flames and it was the Limited Edition with leather seats, sun roof, HEATED seats (a fabulous thing here in the midwest!), and power everything. LOVED it! Especially loved the versatility of the back seats. We could flip them down, forward, or just pull them completely out! It was great as it worked wonderfully for our two doggies!

We traded it in as the warranty was nearing it's end and we wanted something much more fuel efficient. I got a 2008 Nissan Versa. It's not as loaded as the Cruiser was, but we get up to 30mpg so I can't complain! :moped:

I also heard that Chrysler was discontinuing the Cruiser convertible, but I could be wrong. Personally, I prefer the new Sebring convertible because it looks more elegant and luxurious in my opinion. Enjoy the Cruiser Kevin and John!! :)

Yes, Chrysler has already discontinued the PT Cruiser Convertible. They did this along with the Dodge Magnum, the Chrylser Pacifica, and the Chrysler Crossfire. I would expect there to be more models to come in the future. Since the buyout they are trying to "seperate" the Dodge, Chrysler, & Jeep brands a little and not have as much "model cross over". This helps in the grand scheme of getting dealers to have all three brands and lowering the amount of dealers.

As far as the hardtop PT Cruiser, I would expect if for another few years, at least with gas prices like they are now. Probablly due for another "refresh" soon though. I have no definates on this though.

I know all this because my family ownes and operates (really a truely small family business w/8 employees and 5 of them immediate family!) a Dodge, Chrysler, & Jeep store in rural central PA.

OOOOh.. Id love to have a PT Cruiser.. especially a convertible!~ You lucky ducks.. :thumbsup2

My car got hit a few years ago and I was able to get a PT Cruiser at the car rental place and I loved it..
