If myself and my 2 boys (ages 1.5 and 3 at time of trip) are wanting to go to Seaworld 2 times during 1 vacation period, what ticket is the best to buy? Does the 1.5 yr old need a ticket? Is there enough there to do 2 days with the boys at their age or is 1 day recommended?
Thanks in advance....
Children under 3 do not need a ticket, so you'll only have to buy 2.
If you can arrange your two visits within 7 days of each other, your best bet would be to purchase a single day admission. SeaWorld runs a deal where your 2nd day is free if returning within 7 days. After buying your ticket, go in through the turnstiles and go to the ticket booth on your left. There you give them your tickets you used for admission, they'll take your picture and give you a new ticket good for admission within 7 days. (You can also do this on your way out of the park if that's more convenient.) If your visits can't, or won't, be within 7 days of each other, your best bet is to purchase the SeaWorld Orlando Fun Card (64.95 for adult, 54.95 for child). The Fun Card is good for unlimited admission through December 31, 2005.
If you have a Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Card, you can get 20% off of up to 4 single day admissions when purchased at the gate. (2nd day free within 7 days offer is still valid.) Single day admission is 59.75 adult, 48.00 child. With the Rapid Rewards discount, the price is 47.80 adult, 38.40 child.
I think 2 days would be ideal for boys their age, that way you won't have to rush, and will have plenty of time to catch all of the shows you want to see. (You could even see one of the boys' favorites again on the 2nd day if you want.)
