confusion with hula

the other day i played beach front property @ hula's and everybody that played with me won including me! we were all so happy, because i thought i would get the prize, a churro pin. but then hula started rushing us into the exit teleporter. i asked hula to trade but she declined. so not knowing it was the exit, i left her room prizeless. whats with that?

I know during one instance when I was in the game last night, players in the round ahead of me started chatting with Hula about a movie or something after their win, LOL. It seemed a bit unfair to those who have been waiting to play the next round... after all, no one wants to be attacked by the evil DC monster. A minute or two later, the VMKers finally left, and it was our turn to play. So maybe she was worried about others DCing. Or, if you played near the end of the game, she might have been rushing everyone to allow more players in before it was over.

Did you check your inventory under Pins? Hula doesn't award the pin through trade. She has magical powers, and it should appear after a good minute or two of waiting. Take your time before leaving to ensure you were rewarded your prize, especially if there are a lot of winners.

Also, did you make sure not to leave the rug you were on after you won?

The pin from Pool Tournament is awarded to you when you go through the winning teleporter. Hope you went through the right one!

See, I thought that was the case. And I would say so. I've gotten many great offers just walking around VMK, wearing it in my signature, LOL.

The churro pin? It's pretty rare right now. After the month is over though, not so much, since the hosts will have been giving them out all month. I'm saving my host pins though, in case I want to make a good trade several months down the road. Plus I like having full sets.

All staff game prizes are now added into our inventory without the need for trade. It is a great improvement and yay to VMK for doing this!

Very important: When you win a staff event, watch carefully where you are told to go. One teleporter is the "win" exit while the other is not. You go through the right exit - the host takes care of the rest.

As for the question about the pins being rare... The earlier in the month that you get one, the more rare it is. As the month moves along, there are more of them out in VMK Land. However, even at the end of the month they are still more rare than a pin that can be purchased as someone cannot just purchase 20 "Churro Pins," for example. They must be won.

I personally believe that the older a host pin gets, the more rare it is as VMK has new players that did not have the chance to win the pin because the had not started yet. This last portion of my post is purely my opinion as value of items in vmk is purely based on opinion.

It is actually exactly what you are supposed to do once the host tells you to go. The prize is automatically placed your inventory.
