confusion about pm

im new to DIS and i cant figure out how to pm my mom's account. i was able to pm my friends on her account. plz help

I think you need to have a minimum number of posts before you are allowed to send PMs. I'm not sure what the number is though.

that is correct. When you reach enough posts you will be able to PM.
