Confusion about Pins

Hi,

I don't post as often as I want to, but I have a question I know you all can help me answer.

I have read a lot about different PINS being sent by email or attached to a reservation for 40% or free dining.

here are my 2 questions.

1. If we are lucky enough to get one of these PINS, are they valid whenever or are they only specific dates?

2. How far in advance do you start seeing discounts and such for October?

Pin discounts generally have specific sets of dates they can be applied to. The 40% pin has date in several months...all the way to Dec 2009.
You may start seeing October discounts in May/June. But, October generally has less discounts because it's a well-attended time at many resorts (Food and Wine Festival and may conventions at that time of year)
