Confusing: so where can I eat with my DDP?

So we have the deluxe DDP (free dining, and an upgrade), we have all of our ADR's done and know where we want to eat. I was just bored and looking through at restaurants we have yet to try for future visits. This will probably be our only time using DDP, we normally don't so I never have noticed before, but the labeling of who takes our dining plan and who doesn't is confusing. First I noticed it at a few snack stands in Epcot, then at a few places in AK. Some have a little "do not enter" sign and say "Does not Accept Dining Plans", some have a check mark and say "Your Dining Plan Accepted", while others (and this is what is confusing me) have a little "do not enter" sign and say "Your Dining Plan Accepted". I'm like "so, do they or don't they?!" There is one place, at the Japan pavilion, that has the latter description, and I'm so confused as to if they actually take it or they don't. It's not on the list I've seen on here of places that take it, and it has the little "do not enter" symbol....but it says it accepts my plan?

I'd need to find it again, I googled it a couple months ago and it was on the dis site that I found a list of all the places that accept DDP. Tonight I was just on the DW website and looking at menus of places I haven't eaten at yet.

The thing I noticed is that I get the "do not enter" thing with the "accepts your dining plan" at the same time at some places that only serve snacks. There is a place at AK that serves 3 different types of BLT's, and they're snacks, and it says this. So I'd love to eat there, but don't want to waste my time on this next trip if I go all the way to that location and they don't take the dining plan. None of the places that only serve snacks are on the lists I'm finding, oh well. I know that all of our ADR's take it 100%, it's just frustrating on those few that have mixed signals.

Find the actual name of the location(s) youre inerested in and look up the menus on either allears or touringplans, as those denote snack credit eligible. You can also just google the name of the locations menu and see a photo of the menu and look for the ddp logo.

@kevandliz is talking of this:

See the little purple, stylized D? That means you can use a snack credit to purchase the item. Disney doesn't have these on their menus, but places like allearsnet do.

If you're looking at the Disney site, it's often incorrect, and they don't list snacks. For places that only serve snacks, you'll have to check a site other than Disney's.
