Confusing question about tickets

It's cheaper not to hop, but we would like to. If we're going to parks for 4 days, and buy an 8 day ticket, can we use up a ticket for the second park? Does that make sense? Or is it one park per day, period, without the hopper option?

Yes. (except the 'waterpark & more' extras) Diensy wouldn't let us off that easy!

you can use another one day one park ticket for another park if you want to...but... wouldn't it be cheaper just to add the hopper option onto one day?

Even these answers are a bit confusing.

Here's the deal:

You can NOT use a non-hopper ticket to hop.
The ticket gates will not allow it.

You could buy two individual SINGLE DAY admissions at full price (ouch!) and do it, but who would ever want to do that?

If you want to hop, its just $40 (or so) more TOTAL per ticket... not per day.

So, a 1-day ticket converted to a Hopper costs $40 extra.
A 10-day ticket converted to a Hopper costs $40 extra.

Yes, you could use two single (1 day) tickets on the same day, but you cannot use two days of an 8 day ticket on one day.
