I recently came back from Disney and want to return next summer. The end of Aug. works for us. I think this time we will go to Universal for a few days but the resorts are too expensive but the perks seem great. What is the best way to get a room for under 200 dollars. What about tickets? I read that people can get rooms for 129 but i see 289 on the web sit. I am a AAA member. What is a poor confused person to do?

It will accept it closer to your arrival date. My AAA travel agent told me that june rates will be available in october....I don't think they will, since it's so far in advance....but I am hopeful! You can always book it at the rack rate, and keep checking for that discount rate....

You have to go at off peak times, even if that means taking the kids out of school for a few days.

September and February and the best months to visit, the park is quiet and the hotel rates drop.
