I have been looking at rates using the Emarld Isle. I am picking up on th12-2 at noon and dropping off at the Dolphin at 9 am on the third. I am being charged for 2 days even though it is lass than 24 hours. I refuse to pay for two days. What are the cut off times?

Usually you get charged a day at a 24 hour clip starting from your pick-up time. In other words, yours would be one day. However, the two day charge may result from your dropping it off at a different location than the one you are picking it up from.

I'd call them and ask - getting charged for two days sounds like a mistake. Thought I read somewhere that FL doesn't allow the car rental companies to charge extra for picking up and dropping off at different locations. The only thing that I can think of is perhaps there is a minimum rental period for the time you are going or the type of car you are renting? Let us know what they say if you do decide to call.
