Just wondering but I was looking at the hours for Apr 13- 19 and the park is open till midnight with shows every night. I thought April was the quiet season. Does anyone know what's going on that week to make it busy enough for summer hours?

It is still spring break time. Many spring breaks are tied to Easter and Easter is later this year, my guess.

I am in Nor Cal and it seems like we're all on break that week or the week of the 18 or the week after Easter.

Notice that Disney is running a dining special 17th-23rd that indicates they are planning for the largest crowds during that period.
