Confused!! Virgin / Continental!

Been looking at Xmas flights on Expedia, and I seem to be getting the Continental codeshare price at over £100 less than the Virgin Atlantic price!! What are the drawbacks??? I know its the same aircraft, so WHY are the seats prices so different?

There are 5 of us travelling, so its a saving of close to £600 if I book the Continental flight over the Virgin one!! Makes NO sense to me at all! Anyone care to enlighten me??

Allie, I know it's mad but there are no drawbacks!

I don't quite understand how the whole Virgin/Continental 'thing' works, but your tickets will be issued and sent by Continental (and your money will go to Continental via Expedia) however the tickets will be for a Virgin flight. There aren't any restrictions and as far as I am aware you are treated just like a Virgin Atlantic customer. You can use DTD Check-In and Twilight Check-In and you check-in at the usual Virgin Atlantic desks at the airports.

I had the same questions as you and there are no problems with the flights

you can also phone virgin and pre assign seats
