Confused. Ticket price higher when booking package???? Help!

Im so confused, and I shouldnt be, I consider myself a Disney pro! Im trying to play around with the rates on the Disney website, and to buy tickets and no room package, I am being quoted $456 (two adults) for a base ticket for 5 days. When I select a room/ticket package, with just a 5 day base ticket, the ticket price is $486 (two adults). What is going on??

Ohhhhh....wait. I may have figured it out. I dont think they add tax on the quotes for just tickets, but they add tax on the quotes for packages.

Is your price including taxes or before taxes?

I see on Undercover the 5 day tickets without hopper is only 10 less-
