Okay, here's where I'm confused. If you stay at a Disney Hotel you automatically get EE right? So, why if you purchase a package deal they list one of the perks as "One early entry into Fantasyland"? Is this not the same thing as the regular EE? :confused3 We are considering a package deal using the 4th night free promo and I want to make sure that I can get EE more than once. Thanks to anyone who can explain this.

There are three ways of getting EE.

1) You stay at a DLR hotel.

2) you buy a 3+ day park hopper ticket.

3) you sneak in and pray you dont get kicked out ;)

With a 3 day+ Hopper you get one EE, by staying at a Disney Hotel you get to use EE every day it is available. So if you were there on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday- with just the hopper ticket you could only use one of the 3 EE days, by staying at a Disney Hotel you can use EE all 3 of the days. Does that make sense?

Yes, you get as many EE days when you stay at the Disney hotels and it is offered. It just is not public knowledge (advertised on their website). Just show your room key at the gates and they should let you in.

Yup, I myself have done A LOT of research on the subject and have gotten the same answer on different forums and even from a Disneyland employee either here or on another forum. Pretty simple: If you want to take advantage of EE everyday it is offered, stay at a Disneyland resort. That's what we are doing, GC here we come! Only 9 more days!!!

I was glad to come across this thread before our trip. I would not have known that I could go to EE each day it was offered if it weren't for you!! It sounds like there aren't any tricks to this one--just show your hotel key? It's strange that they don't advertise this as a perk for staying at one of the three DLR hotels. Thanks, again!

Which days are EE isn't Saturday one of them???
Yes.

To Summarize:

- EE is available on Mon., Tue., Thur. & Sat.
- EE allows one to enter One Hour prior to Reg. Park Opening (on DL website).
- There is no EE available for DCA (although sometimes you can enter 1/2 hour early and get in line for Soarin").
- If you buy a 3 day Park Hopper (or longer) you get One (& only One) day EE admision.
- If you stay are staying at a DLR hotel, you get EE for each day it's offered during your stay (assuming you buy a parkhopper ticket for each day of your stay).

For example -

If you stay Sun/Mon night (or Sun/Mon/Tue night) at DLH, GCH or PP, you get EE for Monday AND for Tuesday.

If you are staying at Hojo's on Sun/Mon (or Sun/Mon/Tues) nights across the street (or Aunt Margaret's house in Fullerton) or any other motel & buy a 3 day (or 4 day) park hopper, you can CHOOSE to use EE on Mon. OR Tues. but NOT both.

As important (to me) is that you use EE effeciently:

- Be at DL gate 30 min. prior to EE opening.
- Do 7-9 FantasyLand Rides & be prepared to pick up a FP on the hour.
- If staying at one of the 3 DL hotels & you have 2 (or more days) EE, on one day do FL, & on the other day do Tomorrowland. (or work in Nemo which is a whole other topic)
- OR.... with 2 or more days of EE one could do a combination of FL & TL each day.
- If doing FantasyLand (for EE)...the first FL to ride (assuming you're at the gate 30 min. early) is always Peter Pan. (not Dumbo....Peter Pan).

Have fun. :thumbsup2

Just show your room key at the gates and they should let you in.

Unless something has changed, you actually need to show your charge slip to gain entraince to EE. This shows the dates of your stay (so you can't show a room key from a previous stay). Don't try to show up with your room key alone.

If you are thinking about splitting a stay (a couple of nights at a Good Neighbor hotel and a couple of nights at a Disney hotel, stay off-sight first. You can use the EE on your park-hopper when you are staying off-sight. Then you will still get EE after you check in to the Disney property. For example, if you purchase a 5-day PH and stay Fri & Sat off-site then stay Sun & Mon at the DLH, you can get EE on Sat (using your EE from the parkhopper) as well as Mon & Tue (using your Disney hotel charge slip).

As stated, EE entrance for Disney property guests is not an advertised benefit even though they have been doing this for the past 2 years.

This shows the dates of your stay (so you can't show a room key from a previous stay).

They let you keep room keys from previous stays? Don't you have to turn them in at check-out?

Nope, they are just cards, very similar to the photopass cards they hand out to everybody. They are worth VERY little so they don't bother. I'm assuming if you turn them in, they reuse them by reprogramming the magnetic strip for the next guest but if you don't turn them in, it's no big deal.

REGARDING EE for DLR hotels:

Charge slip? I'm not sure what you mean, but I have a confirmation from AAA showing my stay dates and that I've paid. Will that work?

When you check in, the CM will hand you a piece of paper that is used as a "charge slip". It can be used to charge items to your room. This is what you will use to get into EE.

thanks everyone for all the info and replies!!! I thought we were entitled to all of the EE days last year when we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, but the way they listed the benefits of the "package deal" was just confusing.
