I really thought I understood the early entry for DL and CA. Now I am not so sure. At WDW it is tied to whether or not you are on Disney property. What is it connected to at DL or CA? We are not staying at a Disney hotel, we will have 3 day park hopper passes and the parks for 5/23,5/24, 5/25 are all 10am openings. When would early entry be 9am? And does anyone get to take advantage, if you want to be up early enough? ::MickeyMo :confused3

All 3 (or more) day hopper passes come with one Early Entry to Disneyland, available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. All rides in Fantasyland are included, and I have heard that Buzz may also be open at that time.

Let me try to post this again:
Do AP holders get this perk?

Sorry. AP holders do not get this perk.

Unlike WDW, there is no EE benefit for staying on-site (there used to be several years ago). Now, as I understand it, EE is only available to guests with park-hopper plus passes (available to 3 or more days), and each pass gets to choose one EE day. EE is only available on select days. These days are usually Mon., Tue., Thur., and Sat. I believe. If the park is scheduled to open at 10, EE should start at 9; but I suggest you get to the gates at least 15 minutes early if you really want to take advantage of this.

Is the Matterhorn included? I don't know which land it is considered to be in.

Thanks!

Yeah! Make sure to be earlier than an hour before so you can be in quickly! I would be there at least a half hour before my early entry time and sooner on really busy days! :cool1:

hi

is the monorail included in early entry and if so will it start running an hour before park opening?

thanks!

Not to say you are wrong, but that is not the exact information I was given when I called Disneyland Resorts. I had a question about what days EE was and which land(s) it was for, and was told that just because you had a 3-day hopper didn't necessarily mean you had an EE day. They said it depended on where you bought your passes and whether you were told it had an EE day on it. Not sure if this is correct, but it's what Disney told me. I would definitely check your passes to make sure you have this "plus". :)

When you purchase your 3-day hoppers at the gate, you do not get this perk.

When you purchase your 3-day hoppers via the Disney website or through WDTC, you will get the early entry perk.

When you purchase a package through WDTC that includes accommodations plus at least a 3-day hopper you will get early entry to Fantasyland (and Astro Orbitor & Buzz Lightyear), and you will get early entry to Toontown for Mickey's Early Morning Madness.
