Starting this Thursday, May 31, table service restaurants around
Walt Disney World will begin offering free refills on children's
drinks, including juices, milk, bottled water and soda. Note
that the free refills will not apply to specialty drinks such as
smoothies.

I read this on allearsnet. When we have gone in the past and ate at a TS my DS's were always given free refills on their drinks. How is this new?

We've always received free refills on milk, soda & juice too......I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering what the big deal is :)

The children always had a bottomless milk glass, so I didn't think the change was really anything except in the area of bottled water at TS. In any event, I guess that prior to this trip I've had a lot of pixie dust at TS since 1996!

We too have always gotten free refills at TS , maybe it depended on the servers and we always got lucky.

We always got free refills too on all of our trips. It would have been a bigger deal if it was free refills on CS drinks.

I suspect the issue is that it was relatively inconsistent to start, and then more and more restaurants started doing it, and now it is official that all shall.

However, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that this applies to Disney-owned restaurants, only.
