Confused newbie...

I am planning my first trip to WDW for Jan. I want to get my ADR all in order...some of which revolve around certain events. Ex: fantasmic dinner package I want to get HBD before the show. How do I know when and which days they will have certain things...fireworks, Illuminations, Fantasmic??? I only see park hours for Oct and november. What if I book a late meal in a park and that park closes early that night? Will I have to change around all my ADRs once Januarys schedule comes out?

This is my problem with ADR's. How do you make decisions not knowing park hours and stuff. I'm going in January too and just don't understand how you can make advance reservations not knowing critical information

Supposedly Disney is going to start releasing park hours 6 months in advance along with the recent change to making ADR's at 180 days out instead of 90 days out. So far, the hours are only listed through December, but hopefully they'll list the 6-month park hours soon. It would be so nice if park hours were released for the same timeframe as making ADR's. Up until now, we've always had to guess what the park hours would be based on what they were in previous years, then make adjustments if needed when the hours were released.

The hours are now posted six months out, at this time, through April. Must be to coincide with the new 180 day out dining reservations.
