Ok...before the new Touringplan updates came out I thought I had my schedule planned....Thanks to there old schedule and the advice of TGM all was good....Now with there new updates it is all conflicting...What they say is best day for a particular park is the park TGM says avoid....nothing matches up....What do I do??...Whose advice do I follow?....We are going the 2nd full week in December....

Hi DolphinDan,

My advice is: stick with your plan. Those days to avoid are just educated guesses anyway. One school field trip and a good day becomes a bad day. A little weather and a bad day can become a good day.

Don't stress---you'll be at WDW!!!

Here's the rules I go by:

1. Avoid MK on Saturday.

2. Unless you plan on taking advantage of EMH, avoid that park that day.

They're not rules that definitely need to be followed, but I always use them to make my itinerary and have never felt disappointed. And fwiw, early December is usually not very crowded, so you shouldn't have any problems anyway.

We just came back and TGM had also advised us differently than touringplans.com did. From what I could tell, touringplans.com has you avoiding EMH parks while TGM actually likes the EMH morning parks. We followed TGM's plans for our MK EMH and a regular morning at MGM. They worked quite well and we did everything that we wanted to before noon with no rushing around. The plans in the Unofficial Guide would have probably worked equally well but we had no desire to take the parks by storm this time around and TGM's laidback style suited our plans better.

If I were you, I'd stick with my original plans. The 2nd week in December is not very crowded and you should be able to do everything you want regardless of which park each of them suggests.

Thanks guys and gals....We usually go this same week every year but last year was fairly busy by earlier standards so I was a little concerned about the crowdes this year....I have never really used a touring guide....just read the books like passporter and unofficial but this year I was looking more in depth at things and the coflicting info had me puzzled....
