Confused --> HHI

I'm confused about HHI - my cousin said he had stopped by there to see the resort and that it is not on the beach. However, when I see the pictures on the website it looks like it is right on the water.

So, is it on the beach or not???

Hilton Head is an island. The Disney resort is on the west/marsh side of the island. They have a beach house about 1.5 miles away that IS on the ocean beach (east side). You can drive, bike, or take transportation between the two facilities.
