How does this work? Disney's website says that it includes 3 meals per night, but is that any 3 meals or is this 3 table service credits? I'm sure I can't do a table serving meal for breakfast and lunch then have a signature dinner... or can I? Any insight would be helpful!

3 meals/2 snacks per person/per day. Meals can be table service or quick/counter service. Keep in mind some table services are 2 credits.

It is any combination of table service and counter service, It's three meals a day. You can have a buffet for lunch and use on credit and then do a signature at night with two more. A quick service counts the same number of credits as a table service.

Its 3 TS credits. So if you have a TS breakfast and a signature dinner, thats your 3 credits right there. Thats the best way to use the Delux DP in my opinion. Thats how i'd do it. TS Breakfast and Signature dinner every day. ;)

OR, you can do TS bfast, CS lunch, and TS dinner. Thats 3 credits. Apparently you can use a credit for CS instead of TS if you want.

Deluxe credits can be used for either table service or counter service, guest's choice. 2 credit TS restaurants are still 2 credits. Technically there is no distinction at all between table and counter service for deluxe credits. It's not 3 meals a day either. You get 3 meal credits PER NIGHT you stay at the resort (not per day) but you receive them all at once and can use those in any order and any combination throughout your trip. You can arrange it so those credits pay for 3 meals a day if you want.

If you have one person on a deluxe plan for 5 nights they have a total of 15 meal credits and 10 snack credits to use over their full trip.

Regular dining plan credits are separated into TS credits and CS credits; on the deluxe plan there is no separation of the credits.

So wait - it used to be (last May) that 2 counter service meals would count as 1 table service meal. You could do two CS meals and one Signature a day. Is this no longer the case?

You sure can.... But you are using 2 credits for the 2 qs meals and 2 credits for the 1 signature.
