Hello all~
I am ready to book my honeymoon - my husband and I want to stay at a moderate resort for four nights, get 5 day park hopper tickets, and get the dining plan as well. We also have AAA, so we want to get that discount (as well as any others that may pop up!). So my question is -
~Do I book the whole thing through AAA as a package?
~Do I book the room through Disney using my AAA number and then get my tickets through AAA (or can you even do that?)
~Do I book the whole thing through Disney?
~If I book the whole thing through AAA, does that mean I can't add any GP discounts that may come out?

Thanks for your help, I've been wading through all the posts but get more and more confused as I go.

First of all Welcome to the Dis.

TO answer your questions:

If you are doing the dining plan, the only way to get a discount is booking a package through your AAA office/travel agent.

If you opt to not get the dining plan, then yes you can do a room only AAA through disney and then get your tickets at your local office.

If you can't get a AAA discount, you maybe better off going through Disney to get a discount, I would do it over the phone though.

I believe that if you book the whole thing through AAA, you can not add anymore discounts after they are released but I may be wrong about that.

Have fun, Disney is a great place to honeymoon.
