OK now Im confused===have been planning to try Flying Fish at the Boardwalk next week and for some reason kept thinking it is another part of Downtown Disney. So looking on a map now it does look completely separate...so where is the Boardwalk/Flying Fish and where do you access it---parking at one of the resorts, or???? :confused3

Its located at the Boardwalk resort. If your at Epcot, you can walk thru the International Gateway and get there. Its also within walking distance of MGM. Its a great resort which shares a lake with the Yacht Club, Beach Club and the Dolphin/Swan

You can also park at the Boardwalk. Just tell them that you have an ADR at Flying Fish. I think valet is $7. Self park is a fairly long walk there.

If you park there, you can either go through the lobby, or there's an archway that say "to the Boardwalk". Either way, you'll go down some steps.

Flying Fish is toward the right as you come out to the Boardwalk area.

If you are in the parks, the boat launch from both MGm or Epcot will get you there.

Great night life on the boardwalk.

So basically go to the Boardwalk Hotel, park and walk thru to the other side, which is onto the Boardwalk itself?? The weird part is that we were there in 02 and I cant remember at all getting there, or where we parked... We will (weather permitting us going at all!), be staying somewhere last minute off site, then driving over for a Disney dinner, hit MGM in the morning...When you drive onto the World property, watch for signs for Boardwalk Resort then??

I think it's the Epcot resorts sign.

The road to the Boardwalk Resort is basically right across the street from the MGM entrance. It is off from Buena Vista Drive. You can either turn in by the Swan & Dolphin, or by the Hess gas station. It is a horseshoe shaped road that will take you around the resort area and then back out to Buena Vista Drive. If you enter by the Hess gas station the Boardwalk will be immediately on your left, but I think the self parking in on the right behind the gas station.

I hope this helps.

The self park IS a long walk but not too bad. You have to cross over Epcot Resort Drive. It is free parking here though and I don't think it is time sensitive like other resort parking, at least we didn't have to speak to a guard or show id.

The self parking is the easternmost parking, you can see the boardwalk above and west.

Thanks, and cool map too...I think I get it now--since if we go Ill have my 77 year old Dad with me, we should valet park. Dont mind the payment, and itll save alot of walking. Like I said tho, Im bummed by the weather reports-- still saying a bit rainy and cool, so, will have to hope we go at all!!
