Confused as to whether I can add the dining plan, help!

I received a 40% code for room only months ago. I booked 3 rooms with the code for the 7(now 8!) of us going. I want to add the dining plan. Is this something I can do? I've been told yes and no. If the answer is yes then do I have to cancel the whole reservation and rebook it? Right now we have 1 MK view and 2 BL view rooms at the Contemporary, I really don't want to lose either but would sacrifice the MK view as long as we got a BL view still. I'm sooo confused and need help from the Disney experts please!!!

If the 40% off code can be converted to a package without losing your discount, then yes, you can add dining. But you will also have to purchase park tickets (a minimum of one day base tickets for each person in your party) in order to have a package and be able to add the DDP. Your original deposit will be refunded and you will have to make a new $200 deposit per reservation. HTH.

If you want to add dining to a room only package :
1. They will cancel and refund any money you have on you room only reservations.
2. Book a new reservation that includes at least 1 day tickets for everyone in your party to add the dining.
3. Put down a new $200 deposit.
Now I am not 100% sure...but I *think* you may need to put a $200 deposit for each room..Someone here will know for sure.

I am pretty sure you will not loose your room with the discount by just adding the dining. I have been told by CM's that they can do something with the system to keep you current room then add the dining...but again..not 100% sure.

The deposit is $200 for each room. Yes, Customer Service can do a work around to make sure the room is not lost when you change from room only to a package.
