confused! Alamo DVC code

I had seen a code in the quatrerly DVC magazine for Alamo car rental that I KNOW started with the number "8" but my DH threw it away and I could not remember the entire code. So, I called MS and they gave me a code that starts with "3"?

I know that the code cannot be posted on here, but how do I know which is correct?

Why not enter the code that MS gave you on the Alamo website and see if it works. First, price a car with no cade, then price the same car with the MS code.

And remember that car codes are often very flaky, try all the codes you may have access to, for instance, professional groups, AAA, credit card holders, all often have codes available, and the discounts vary greatly. Occasionally DVC/Disney has the best codes, but usually other codes give better discounts.
