Confused about which points I can use

I am getting ready to make my reservation for December 2009 toward the end of this month. We have a December use year. Even though it is currently 2009, I believe we're still in our '08 UY. Since the vacation will be in my '09 UY am I correct in saying I can use either '08, '09, or '10 points?

I'm trying to book 11 months out so we can get BCV, but only some of our points are BCV, so I think I'm going to have to do some borrowing and I just want to get this all straight.

Your Dec 2008 UY points are good from Dec 1, 2008 until Nov 30, 2009. You can bank these into your Dec 2009 UY. And you can borrow from the Dec 2010 UY during your Dec 2009 UY (Dec 1, 2009 to Nov 30, 2010).
