Have an existing reservation for pop century in November end after thanksgiving. Noticed a price drop in all star movies resort for a couple hundred dollars.
My agent says that AS has only 2 double beds whereas pop century has all rooms renovated and would guarantee 2 queen beds.. however, when I called Walt Disney they gave me conflicting answer. In pop century, the queen rooms bed are subject to availability.
Bed size was one of the criteria for comfort.

Pls advise.

Thanks

Just as @DizneyMommy stated, all the open rooms at Pop have either 2 queen beds, or 1 King bed. And to add a little more information, All Star Movies is currently undergoing the same room renovation as Pop and will have either 2 Queens or 1 King. Currently Movies only has a couple sections completed, but may be well over half completed by November.

It always boggles my mind when folks consult multiple sources for the same question.
You’re using a TA. I hope you trust them.
But you called Disney and got a conflicting answer. Disney is probably right. If the renovations aren’t complete it will only be a request.
Now you are asking here. What’s next?
POP is/has renovated to Queen beds. I would consult the POP specific thread for more information.

Good thing they asked. Disney is wrong which is not unusual. All open buildings have been renovated so it isn't a request. None of the double bed rooms exist anymore.

Perhaps the OP will choose next to ask on Facebook. It's their prerogative.

Disney may not commit that you will get queen beds at POP until the entire resort is renovated. They have finally updated the website now that all the full beds are gone (surprisingly) ... might take awhile for the phone CMs to catch up, they never seem to be fully "aware" of what is happening. :confused3

ASMovies is in the beginnings of their renovation so there you would have no guarantee of queen beds as your TA says.

That is EXACTLY what this forum is for, if you get conflicting info you want to know which information is correct, if either. And a lot of times Disney CMs are not right. I always look at multiple sources, I learned a long time ago not to think the information you received from one source is always correct, especially with WDW.

Do you always trust the first and second response when they are conflicting? Usually one would find out more information beyond that.

Your response was quite unnecessary.

Who doesn't consult multiple sources for information? Everyone should, especially when it comes to Disney, since phone CM's are frequently wrong.

Pop Century rooms now have two queen beds, one is a regular bed and one is a murphy bed, which folds up against the wall. Some rooms still have one King.
They got rid of all the double beds when they did the renovation.
